E-Recycling with eFate
On World Environment Day 2022, Advanced Media announced its partnership with UAE-based electronic waste management company, eFate. E-waste is considered the fastest-growing waste stream in the world and 83 percent of electronic waste is not recycled. On average, a UAE resident generates 17.2 kg of e-waste annually. It is estimated in 2030 the annual amount of e-waste will surpass the weight of 148 Burj Khalifas.

The AMT Scholarship with SAE Institute in Dubai, UAE
In March 2022, on its 20th Anniversary, Advanced Media Trading announced that it would be offering an annual scholarship of 50,000 dirhams to three prospective students pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Film at SAE, provided they meet a specific admission criteria.
Eligible students will also have to undergo an interview in order to determine their level of experience, film literacy and passion to pursue the degree and a career in the film industry. Find out more by visiting: dubai.sae.edu

Sustainable Stationery, Office Supplies and Other Steps
Advanced Media has committed to reducing unnecessary use of single-use plastic and paper. Recycling stations have been placed around the Showroom and Warehouse/Service Center to recycle more efficiently and properly. Ecofriendly, biodegradable, and quality alternatives have been introduced to minimalize the effects of our consumption on the environment and the community. Further steps have also been taken to educate the employees and customers on the importance of supporting creative local initiatives aimed at protecting the environment.
