After completing the MOIAT ownership transfer, drone registration depends on where you plan to operate.
* In Dubai: You must register your drone with the DCAA (Dubai Civil Aviation Authority).
* In other emirates: You must register with the GCAA (General Civil Aviation Authority).
To register your drone with DCAA:
1. Create a profile on the DCAA portal (you can scan the QR code found on the drone box).
2. Visit: https://www.dcaa.gov.ae/services/aviation-safety-operations/drone-non-commercial-purpose
3. Prepare the required documents, including a valid Drone Pilot Certificate and clear photos of your drone.
MOIAT registration , also known as the drone ownership transfer. it is mandatory in the UAE for owning a drone, but it is not required for operating it within the country.
